Matthew Naidorf

After graduating from Cornell University with a degree in Economics, Matthew Naidorf began his career in finance at Citibank.  In 2010, Matthew received his MBA from the NYU Stern School of business and started working in Equity Research covering the technology sector at Bank of Montreal in New York City.  He honed his analytical skills as a Director/Senior Associate of Equity Strategy at Oppenheimer & Co’s New York City headquarters.  While at Oppenheimer, Matthew worked closely with the firm’s many financial advisors and retail clients.  In addition to publishing weekly market updates as part of the firm’s Market Strategy group, Matthew worked on institutional equity-related projects and helped structure several successful unit investment trusts.

Upon leaving Oppenheimer & Co., Matthew founded Copperhead Capital, LLC. – a New York based long/short equity hedge fund, where he actively managed a portfolio of equity and equity options until he transitioned to a more client-centric role as an Advisor for Prudential.  Matthew served clients faithfully for nearly 6 years until early 2024, at which point he joined the Income & Asset Advisor Inc. team.  Matthew was attracted to the emphasis Jason and his other team members at Income & Asset Advisory, Inc. place on putting the client and their needs above all else.  Since joining Income & Asset Advisory Inc., Matthew has worked closely with Jason to support equity-related client investments.  He brings a deep understanding of financial markets and products and genuinely loves helping his clients achieve their goals.
